Can a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?

I have a nose piercing and lower lip piercing and am thinking of becoming a culinary chef OR Pastry maker. My question si is it ok to have this jewlery in the food service industry? Not Front house kitchen. Back houseCan a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?
It would depend on the individual restaurant. You ar emore likely to be able to have facial piercings at indpendently owned restaurants rather than chains. Can a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?
In the first year you enroll in culinary school, you're not allowed to have any facial jewelery, piercings, rings etc..
