How to do a facial? please give me a step by step instruction.?

Go to a spa. It is a great experience. May I recommend Bliss.

I need step by step instructions to do facial make up?

I hope this helps because i am a pt makeup artist, and just to let you know it takes practice u will never get it on the first go around, and be patience. So here are 10 ways u can apply your make up:

1. Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.

2. Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face.

3. Use a loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on longer. Use pressed powder to touch up when you're away from home.

4. Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.

5. Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques.

6. Apply eyeliner. Use a eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin.

7. Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.

8. Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.

9. Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits.

10. Line lips after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won't end up with a dark circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. Avoid combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.

Tips:

-Follow the steps in the order given, and remember to clean and moisturize your face before applying makeup.

-Choose brighter or darker tones for a stronger look.

-Clean makeup brushes by gently washing them in warm water and mild gel shampoo. Air-dry them overnight.

-Don't skimp on makeup tools. High-quality tools make application easier and faster.

-If you decide to curl your eyelashes, do this just before applying mascara'never after. Insert your eyelashes into the curler, squeeze just once, and hold for a few seconds.I need step by step instructions to do facial make up?

How can you care for a dying relative i need to comfort my step-sister she has facial cancer?

ok so here is sum backstory my friend jayson and i have been friends since nintendo powerfest '91 and now we are grown ups ready to go TAKE THE WORLD BY STORM!!! but here is my question last month i get a call from my step-brother his name is Jemzi and he's like ';logiclrd just got a dignosis in and apparently my sister is going into 3rd stage facial cancer'; now she is my step-sister and even though lol i know step-siblings are lower than blacks i still feel really bad and i need some ways to help make her feel better in her time of need. so like here is my question: apparently she has a very rare disorder along with the cancer that causes her to mispell all the time and she really feels bad about it and i wish i could make her better i have a guuitar and i wrote her a song called ';i before e soon ull be in heaven'; and it was supposed to solve two birds with one stone but it just made her cry even more. so here is my question: apparently she has like 2 years at best we are tryingHow can you care for a dying relative i need to comfort my step-sister she has facial cancer?
You've done the first, best thing - caring.

If she is also dealing with facial differences because of the cancer, you can contact the Changing Faces organization for advice (link to their website is also below).

My cat stepped in facial hair bleach?

I was lightening my eyebrows, and my cat jumped on the counter and got her paw in some onf the bleach, i wiped it quickly and rinsed it as best i could. I hunted her down quickly afterward and really rinsed her paw off as well as her face because I noticed her left eye was tearing. she's now hiding under the bed after the ordeal, I figured I'd let her rest there as it seemed quite stressful for her. My husband keeps insisting ';shes fine, shes fine!'; Can someone else please let me know if she is indeed ';fine'; - has this happened to anyone? I'm just a little scaredMy cat stepped in facial hair bleach?
I'm sure she'll be fine, her eye was most likely tearing from the intense smell of the lightening kit. I know that my cat freaks out when I bleach my hair :]] lol. Just keep an eye on her, I'm pretty sure she didn't injest any of the liquid, and as long as you cleaned her paw off, it should be good. If she seems to get sick by the end of the night or tomorrow morning, it wouldn't hurt to take her into the vet.My cat stepped in facial hair bleach?
If you rinsed her paw immediately, you would have gotten most of the harmful stuff off! If her eye is tearing, it might be from a bit of bleach residue, but if it was such a small amount it shouldn't cause any real harm. Though it's probably rather unpleasant for her... :(

If you look at her paw and don't notice any actual bleaching of her fur/skin (you know how skin gets those white spots if you leave hair bleach on it...), it means there probably wasn't that much bleach left behind.
I would phone the vets for advice, it's possible some of the bleach went into her eye and would need immediate treatment.
spray her with a spray bottle and say no thats a bad kitty then beat it with the toaster so it learns it's lesson.

Is growing ';Boy Band'; quality facial hair the first step toward meeting respectable women?

I've tried everything else and I'm getting desperate. Is growing ';Boy Band'; quality facial hair the first step toward meeting respectable women?
What happened to the homeless girlfriend? Did you not provide her with a nice, old refrigerator box to live in?

What are you doing, lurking over in 'singles and dating', anyway? ; )Is growing ';Boy Band'; quality facial hair the first step toward meeting respectable women?
i really dont like facial hair so i would think not.
Men, not women.
what do u mean boy band facial hair???... in my opinion it doesnt matter what kind of facial hair u have to get a girll...
No, all respectable women do not like facial hair. Some prefer clean shaven MEN. When I say men, I mean a man who walks and talks with confidence. Be yourself and be confident about what you have to offer and that will attaract women.
Girls aren't into facial hair on guys, mostly. The best thing you could do is to dress well so that respectable women are attracted to you, - look like a winner to win. Good luck.

Is toner a good step in daily facial care?

toner is essential in your daily skin care regime. it gets off the extra dirt your cleanser didn't take off and after a long day it takes off traces of make up/other impurities you never knew would be thereIs toner a good step in daily facial care?
yes ofcourseIs toner a good step in daily facial care?
Toners are a good foundation to restore the PH balance to the skin and to constrict the pours. Arbonne has balancing toners that are inexpensive and their skincare line is botanically based. You can enjoy a 35% discount on all products. www.cathi.myarbonne.com
toner is really necessary because helps reduce the appearance of puffiness, protects skin from environmental aggressors and improves the appearance of skin clarity and tone. Try the tonic from Beauticontrol, is alcohol-free.
I read somewhere once that toner is only a cleaner to remove the cleaners, essentially. Guess it's okay, but probably not a necessity.

  • Has anyone used Avon's ANEW CLINICAL 2-Step Facial Peel?

I have some significant post-acne scarring, and so I went for a handful of micro-dermabrasion treatments. I noticed an improvement, but they are so expensive that I was trying to seek a home remedy alternative. Anyone know if this will do the trick, or have anything to recommend that might? Much thanks.Has anyone used Avon's ANEW CLINICAL 2-Step Facial Peel?
It is now just a 1-step Retexturizing Peel, so it's more convenient. I haven't tried it myself, but I know people swear by it for acne scarring. Avon also has a Micro-Exfoliant that is an at home alternative to Micro-dermabrasion. Try both of them and I'm sure you will have some very nice skin.

Does Clinique 3 step facial care work? Is it worth the money?

    Hi Girly:)

Yes, Clinique does work. The toner and soap are okay.

I started out with it as a teenager. I'm 24 now.

    Is it worth the money?

Not to me. I like DHC skincare products, the products are from Japan and they use natural olive oil in alot of their items which is super great for your skin.

They have a complete skincare regimen including a daily lotion and a mild olive soap. Here is a good set to start with:

    and they have a catalouge.

This for me is the best of the best as worth the money. I have NEVER felt my skin like this before. It was glowing~

I also use a couple other goodies from Sephora which include:

On the cheap the three best things for your face are to balance your skin, daily wash using a pure white Dove original soap bar, witch hazel a natural toner, Seabreeze face wash uses witch hazel and lastly the new Garnier Nutritioniste Skin renew lotion with SPF15.

I use it, though not as often as I should. I do love it though. (I'm just not a routine person).

The only thing I suggest though is to really know your face and make sure the make up lady does too. I went one time and they gave me lotion as the third step when I should have received the gel. So sometimes getting second opinions on which type you get might make a difference. I noticed a huge difference when I switched to the gel. But your face type might call for the lotion, so be sure to ASK!

They also usually give away samples and stuff, so ask the counter if they happen to have any because you are interested in trying it.Does Clinique 3 step facial care work? Is it worth the money?
i really dont know.. im posting an answer so i can look back at the results cause i really want to know too!
yes, I especially love their yellow moisturing gel.
OMG YES... I went to the Clinique counter and had them do it then I bought it for home... I'll never use anything else. My skin is bright, firm, and so soft! Its awesome!
In my experience it has, and it's actually much less expensive than some of the stuff out there. Consult with the person at the Clinique counter to make sure you are buying what is appropriate for your skin type. There are different types of soaps, toners and moisturizers in the system.
Yes, actually it did. I used to have acne all over my face but after i used the three step facial care, not only did my acne go away, my skin got soft as a baby.

Steps for an at home facial?

I bought some new skincare products today to give myself a facial. I got Neutrogena Cleanser, Neutrogena Scrub, and Biore heating mask. I know I need to first use hot water to open pores, but do I rinse with cold water to close my pores before or after the mask? What I'm going to do is use hot water to open my pores, then wash with cleanser, then rinse with hot water, then use the scrub, then rinse with hot water. Then should I rinse with cold water and do the mask, or should I do the mask then rinse with cold water to close my pores? Also, I read that you could use the hot water rinse to open pores, but then I read somewhere to just use the steam from the water and don't actually touch it. But I was hoping to do the hot water and the cleanser and the scrub in the shower, so can I just do that? Or should I get in the shower and just hold my face near the steam for awhile before getting it wet? That doesn't really make sense why you wouldn't let your face touch the water because theSteps for an at home facial?

    Step !- Cleansing.

Step 2- Toning. (This corrects the skin's pH levels so your third step can work properly.)

Step 3- Hydration. Make sure you pick a hydrating cream or lotion that fits your skin type. Putting a cream on oily skin can cause break outs, and putting an oil-free lotion on dry skin won[t provide enough moisture.

You can also apply intensive serums prior to your last step if you have one. Vitamin C serums are lovely and collagen serums are great for dry or older skin. Apply your serum before the final cream or lotion. What consists of an at home 3 step facial besides cleansing?

  • Where can i buy purity one step facial cleanser?

You can try an asprin mask?

It's cheap and effective.... I use it once every week because it can dry out your skin if you use it too much.

All you have to do is buy some disolvable asprin from the shop, add a little water to 4 asprins and mix it up (best doing it in your palm and don't let it get too watery), then add a little soap to it so it stays on your face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and gently rub it into your skin with warm water.

Typically, yes, you would (1) cleanse to remove any makeup or build-up; (2) wash to rinse away the cleanser; (3) exfoliate to scrub away dead skin; (4) and if you have a skin treatment, then do it here every 3-4 days, but not daily), (5) tone to clear pores or everything; and (6) moisturize.

I'm sure all that attention to your face will leave it glowing.
    1.Facial cleanser

    2. Exfoliant

    3. Toner

    4. Moisturizer

Don't exfoliate every day, try every other day. And toners can dry out some people's skin, depending on your skin type. If your skin seems dry, try toning just in the morning or night, not both.
Every morning when you wake up and at night when you go to sleep put on some toothpaste and it'll pop all your pimple and you will see the white stuff pop out of your pimples. The white stuff is called Puss. Not puss as in pussy but the u sound is short so its Puss(Puh-s-). Then keep doing thAT and your pimple problem is solved

go back to beauty school! What are the steps in giving a professional facial?
    Instructions

STEP 1: Tie back your hair and keep it off your face. STEP 2: Place a warm, wet towel on your face and keep it there for a few minutes. STEP 3: Remove the towel and wash your face using cleanser that's suitable to your skin type. STEP 4: Fill a pot with water. Add herbs suitable to your skin type or a few drops of essential oil. For example, chamomile, fennel seeds and roses are good for dry skin, and rosemary, lavender and peppermint can help oily skin. STEP 5: Put the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Remove the pot from the heat. STEP 6: Drape the towel over your head and hold your face over the steam. Steam for 5 or 10 minutes, or whatever is comfortable. STEP 7: Put on a face mask. If using a clay-based mask, avoid the eye area. STEP 8: Lie down and relax as the mask dries. Cucumber slices over the eyes are cooling. STEP 9: Rinse your face, making sure to get all traces of the mask off. STEP 10: Conclude your facial with toner, then moisturizer. Tips %26amp; Warnings

You can purchase a mask or make your own at home. Honey and egg whites are very good and effective standbys. For dry skin, try using a mashed banana or avocado.

The herbs that work for you will depend on your specific skin qualities. Experiment with a variety of herbs until you find the ones that work best.

Avoid toners containing alcohol. They can be drying, even for oily skin.

I just started using Burt's Bees soap bark and chamomile facial cleanser and I am amazed at how my skin is clearing up and I didn't really have problem skin except for a few areas. I was using really good facial cleanser before by origins and this stuff beats that. So basically all you need to do is just find a good cleanser that isn't too harsh, I would recommend that one I'm using because it is the best I've ever used. Follow up with a toner. A regular one if you have normal to dry skin, or a oil refining one if you have oily skin. Some nice ones to try origins united state or oil refiner. Then apply a thin layer of moisturizer. Burts Bees makes Men's products so you wouldn't smell like milk and honey, but I think all natural is better personally so I'm recommending that brand again. Then you could just put tiny tiny dabs of pimple cream ( I like ZapZyt personally) on any problem areas. Tiny so they don't make a white flake, and because a little goes a long way.

By the way, I only say I think natural is better because many cleansers, lotions, shampoos, body washes contain harsh detergents and preservatives that can not only aggravate your skin but many of these chemicals are also carcinogens. I switched over to more natural products and my hair and skin are much better for it.
Who cares if your a guy lol! use this before you go to bed.

Cetaphil Cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizer. Wash your face morning and night, and then moisturizer afterward each time. Cetaphil products are gentle and should leave your skin looking refreshed and hydrated.
when you come inside from outdoor activities wash your face with hot soapy water and dont touch your facfe with your fingers they have many oils that with clog your poars.

It depends on the issue(s) you are having. Your best bet is to see a dermatologist because over the counter products are usually only marginally helpful.
try an natural avacado mask or red clay mask from the store. get sum avacados and mash them up put them on your face for a while like 15 mins n wash it off with warm water it should help.

Daily regime should be cleanse, tone, moisturize with products specifically made for oily skin. Always be sure to moisturize, even with oily skin, otherwise your skin can dry out and get flaky. I like the Body shop's Tea Tree line, made for oily skin. Their moisturizer is light and not greasy.

Once or twice a week, scrub and use a clay mask in addition to the other three steps (these should be done between the cleanse and tone steps, I usually mask first then scrub). For a scrub I use the Body Shop's tea tree and for a mask I use Biore or Olay. If you have blackheads, I reccomend Biore's nose strips twice a week.

Before my first facial a year ago, I washed my face every other day and did nothing else and I had a bunch of blemishes and really oily skin. Now I use that regime and mineral makeup that doesn't clog my pores, I get one blemish a month at the most (I used to get 2 or 3 a week). It works great, this past facial the lady told me I had the best teenage skin she had seen (I'm nearly 17). Good luck! What should be your skin care steps after your facial? Wash, moisturize with a non-oily moisturizer, and always always always wear sunscreen. Treat blemishes as needed.

Depending on your skin type, here are some great masks to try. For oily skin use some plain Milk of Magnesia, rub it on and let dry, then rinse with lukewarm water. It absorbs oil wonderfully!

For Normal/combination skin mix one egg and 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal and a teaspoon olive oil until smooth. Spread on your face and leave 15 min then rinse.

For dry skin, mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil if you have it. Smooth on and leave on for 15 min. , rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. If your skin is a bit dry you can put a dab or two of either olive oil, or any other light oil, or plain crisco if you want something heavier, on your moist skin after washing or a mask and your face is set without the $$ some people spend for the same look.

Cleanse, tone, moisturize. Use glycolic acid soap for oily skin, use twice a day. Use a toner at night with salicylic acid to prevent facial oil build up.

Moisturize once a day with a light cream. This will prevent your skin from being too dry, which can lead to acne break outs.

    Home remedy for oily skin

Fruit acids have shown a positive effect in oily skin treatment. They remove oil from the skin and yet retain the moisture. Home remedies such as cucumber juice, lime juice and yogurt are effective in keeping oily skin under control. A mask of Aloe Vera, crushed strawberries and yogurt is an astringent for oily skin. Keep it on for about 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Some simple home remedies for oily skin:

    1. Puree 1 egg white, 1-tsp. Lemon juice, 1-tsp. Mint and 陆 cucumber and apply it on the face for about 15 minutes.

    2. A puree of fresh tomatoes works wonders on oily skin.

    3. A facemask of tomato, lemon juice and oats must be applied on the cheeks, forehead and chin. Scrub your face with warm water. This home remedy for oily skin is ideal for blemishes.

    4. A clay mask is yet another home remedy for oily skin since it draws out excess oil.

    5. If your skin is excessively oily, mix in a few drops of eau de cologne. This not only helps keep oiliness away but also helps in refining the pores of the skin by acting as astringent, thereby preventing acne.

Take a diet that is rich in proteins, with plenty of leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Restrict sugar and high-fat foods and junk food. Supplement your food with wheat germ, nutritional yeast and whole grains, beans and nuts. Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated and flush out toxins.

    Make up for oily skin

Choose cosmetic and facial care products specifically designed for oily skin. Use oil-free moisturizers for a shine-free complexion. You can use an antiseptic day cream before applying makeup to oily skin. This will keep sebaceous secretions under control. Makeup for oily skin hinges on creating a matte effect.

You must use foundations that block out shine and non-pore clogging formula. Use concealer to hide blemishes and spots. Loose powder can keep you looking fresh all day long and absorb the excess oil too. Most women with oily skin cant do without this makeup item. Powder blushes work well on oily skin than cream blushers.

    Treatment for oily skin

There is no magical cure for oily skin. Regular care and appropriate treatment of oily skin can go a long way in keeping it clean and blemish free. Massage your face with upward and outward motions when cleansing it. Using warm water to dissolve skin oil while washing it is a good treatment for oily skin. But do not use very hot water as it can strip the skin of essential oils. Do not expect results overnight. What is required is a holistic treatment of oily skin - internally and externally.

    # White or pink clay masks gently cleanse oily skin of excess oil. The darker brown clay masks are stronger and more effective on very oily skins. Apply a clarifying face mask couple of times a week.

    # Aromatherapy oils such as lemon, rosemary and cedarwood are said to be effective in treating oily skin. A few drops of any of these oils combined with lanolin can be massaged into the skin.

    # Topical Vitamin derivatives with ingredients such as tretinoin and isotretinoin are prescribed by dermatologists to tackle sensitive oily skins.

    # Products containing Benzoyl Peroxide also form part of the treatment for oily skin. They unplug pores and reduce bacteria.

    # Antibiotic creams and lotions such as erythromycin and clindamycin are effective in treating blemished oily skin.

    # Lotions containing AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) can help oily skin become softer and smoother.

who are you giving it to?What are the proper steps in giving an at home facial?
    1. Cleanse your face

    2. Exfoliate your face (gently)

    3. Boil a large bowl of water and put a towel over the back of your head as you lean over the bowl (not too close). This opens your pores up.

    4. Apply a face mask and leave it on for the recommended time. Wash it off.

    5. Apply a good moisturiser and massage your face to get the circulation moving. What are the proper steps in giving an at home facial?
well make sure you have damp cold skin first. you can do this by splashing with cold water.. this is so ur skin won't get dry and cause harm. also exfoliate, if ur facial isn't an exfoliating one, and then u put the facial on. leave on for at least half an hour, unless ur short on time.

after that just wash it off and pat pat dry with a face towel. don't ever rub. once finished top off with nice moisturizer. u should be fine and have healthy skin if you do this around 1 or 2 times a week.

you can actually use them everyday as they are mellow enough for everyday use.
I use Arbonne facial products. It really feels like you're getting a facial at home every day. They now have a chemical peel (gentle enough for rosacea skin) that you can add to your regimen too. The products are formulated to reverse the damage that the sun/environment has been doing to our skin. The before/after photos are amazing. Let me know if you would like more information or samples.

  • What are the steps to doing a facial at home?

as many different variations as you guys can give would be great. . .What are the steps to doing a facial at home?
Gently cleanse your face and remove all makeup. Then use an exfoliating scrub with round beads so you don't scratch your skins surface. Massage your face while you exfoliate. Then cover your head with a towel and hold your head over a hot steaming pot or bowl of water for about 10 minutes, to open your pores up. Then use a facial mask for your particular skin type. You are all done. Be careful though, all that agitation to your skin may cause a break out. Use as gentle of products as you can find. Organic products would be even better. Good luck. What are the steps to doing a facial at home?

    Some Tips

    http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1713.鈥?/a>
Go get a professional one, take notes, carry on. I get them every 3 weeks, better when someone else does it. You relax for 60 minutes, nothing better.
    PRE-FACIAL:

The secret to having a great home facial is time. Set aside a few hours in the afternoon and make sure you鈥檝e got everything you need鈥?br>

    - your favourite CD

    - a few scented candles

    - a good mirror

    - a bowl filled with hot water

    - your favourite scented oil

    - a towel

    - cleanser

    - exfoliant

    - face mask

    - moisturiser

    Step 1:

Recreate that calming beauty salon atmosphere with some soothing music, and a few scented candles. Make sure you鈥檝e got a comfy chair to sit in, some fluffy towels and have a mirror on hand for those 鈥榗lose up鈥?moments.

    Step 2:

Thoroughly cleanse your face using your regular cleanser, making sure to remove every last bit of make-up from your face and neck area.

    Step 3:

Fill a bowl with hot water and add a few drops of your favourite essential oil. Place a towel over your head and feel your face relax as the steam opens up those pores. If the steam starts to feel a bit uncomfortable, make a gap in the towel and let some cool air in. A scaled face is not the sort of look you want from a facial!

    Step 4:

Pat your face dry and use a gentle exfoliating scrub to remove the layer of dry skin cells that are hiding that fresh skin! We love Clean%26amp;Clear Exfoliating Renewal Scrub, which contains gentle MicroBeads that work to clear away dead skin and surface build-up. Get the best out of your exfoliant by massaging the beads gently into your face with your fingers. Use a clockwise circular motion and only do small sections at a time so you get rid of every last bit of skin build up.

    Step 5:

The next step is to get yourself looking like a real alien by applying a face mask. There are a lot of different types of face mask on the market, but a deep cleansing mask like Clean%26amp;Clear鈥檚 Deep Action Cleansing Mask will get right into your pores. The Deep Action mask is easy to use because it changes colour as it cleans your skin 鈥?just remove it when it turns white!

    Step 6:

Now your skin has had a basic clean, a steam, a scrub and a deep clean, it鈥檚 time to freshen up that new layer of skin with some moisturiser. Try to avoid tinted moisturisers straight after a facial 鈥?you want to put a good layer of moisture onto your skin. Clean%26amp;Clear Skin-Balancing Moisturiser is absorbed quickly into your skin and will leave it feeling soft and smooth. Neutrogena Moisture is also a great moisturiser, especially for post-facial and sensitive skin. Not only will it give you plenty of moisture without leaving your skin greasy, it also helps minimise the appearance of tiny lines!

    POST FACIAL:

You鈥檒l be feeling very relaxed and pampered post-facial, so don鈥檛 go rushing off on that hot date just yet. If you cleanse you skin then reapply make-up straight afterwards you鈥檒l undo all that great work! Sit back and relax with your favourite book so your skin has a few hours to breathe鈥hen you can put some make up on.

    Gold facial:

This is a clinical treatment and uses special methods of massage. The treatment encourages lymphatic drainage and removal of wastes and toxins. The main ingredients are gold cream and gold gel. These contain 24 carat gold, aloevera, wheat germ oil and sandalwood. The gold facial helps to improve blood circulation, skin elasticity, rejuvenates the skin and helps in delaying the formation of lines and wrinkles.

Before you start up doing facials, the first and foremost thing to do is to identify your skin type. The five major types of the skin are Oily skin, Dry skin, Normal skin, Combinational skin and Sensitive skin. After analyzing your skin type, follow the facial treatment, as under, according to your skin type needs.

This facial makes use of creams containing 24-Carat pure gold, which penetrates the skin easily. It is a powerful rejuvenating treatment. Gold has a powerful effect on lymphatic drainage, facilitating the removal of toxins and wastes. This accelerates the regeneration of new cells. Masks, containing gold, are also applied. Darlin I think your pours are the size of a studio apartment. You need to cleanse your skin and then rinse with cold water to close up those pours as fast as possible. Also moisturize with a light cream right after you dry your face. I know, you're thinking I'm nuts to tell you to moisturize but what that will do is fill the pours with clean moisturizer instead of oil and dirt!! Try that.

Facial Skin Care Professionals, I need HELP!?

Can you guys tell me the correct process to treat acne? I know that there is steam, toner, cleanser, extract, etc... But I dont know the order in which I should do these to help remove acne properly.

Can anyone help me with this process?

Also, any suggestions that you have for products or instruments needed to correctly acne would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!Facial Skin Care Professionals, I need HELP!?
Cleanse, steam, extract, cleanse, tone, spot treat, moisturize.

    Products/instruments:

Cleanser: Choose one made for fighting acne with either Salicylic Acid or Benzoil Peroxide.

If you have a steamer, great! If not, steam up your bathroom with hot water, or just drape a hot rag over your face for a several minutes.

Extract by poking a teeny hole in the pimple with a sterilized needle, then, with either Q-tips or tissue covered thumbs, gently and slowly add pressure and/or squeeze the area around the pore.

Tone with an astringent, or something like witch hazel, really any toner works.

There are a variety of spot treatments in the face wash section of any Target/Walgreens/Walmart..

A lightweight acne fighting moisturizer should finish things up.Facial Skin Care Professionals, I need HELP!?
I have struggled w acne for a long time. im 19 years old, have fair, kind of sensative skin. and mostly my acne is from like hormones and such, not because i am dirty person. i have been to many dermitologists and tried meds, but honestly all that stuff unless ur seriously really bad is junk. acne is your bodies way of saying your unhealthy. so, first i started eating healther, drinking LOTS of water, like the 8 glasses a day ammount. and then also this is my average routine.

wash face at night or morning, steam it by putting your face under a towel over a bowl of hot water. then after you steam you should put your toner on your face, or your lotion or whatever you prefer. steaming is great because if opens your pores to extract all the cloggage, but if you steam too much it can backfire so i only steam like 3 nights a week.

diet is honestly a huge part of it tho! so don't forget to drink tons of water, and eat healthy, like lots of fruits and high fiber foods, such as oatmeal and grains! good luck! and don't get discouraged about it! just be healthy and your skin will show it!

    After i have a facial (just a normal/blackhead one from a professional)....?

when should i wash my face again (if i get it done around lunch)

how long will it take for my skin to clear up?

and i heard that sometimes after you get a facial your skin breaks out because its getting rid of all the impurities, is that true? After i have a facial (just a normal/blackhead one from a professional)....?
If you have a problem with acne or troubled skin a facial will bring out and up to the surface anything that would have come up over time anyway. Simply continue with your normal routines and add some acne lotions to your face regimen. I recommend any 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Lotion, maximum strength. Just remember to cleanse your face thoroughly and use alcohol or witch hazel to close those pores up along with a light creme or face lotion to keep your skin supple. After i have a facial (just a normal/blackhead one from a professional)....?
Wash it before you go to bed, like normal.

On how long before your skin clears up, it really varies. It might take multiple facials to have it clear up. It will look BETTER either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Yes, it is true that your skin breaks out, mostly because they brought all of the impurities to the surface and your body is getting rid of it.

A lady that gave me a facial went to school for two years to become this and I am looking for the name of what people who give facials are calledWhat is the professional name for a person who gives facials and deals with skin care?
The professional term in salons and dermatologists office for people who give facials is ';esthetician';.

Cosmotologists are typically hair dressers. What is the professional name for a person who gives facials and deals with skin care?
    Dermatologist

    Skin care = dermatologist
    A beautician.
cosmetologist.... or dermatologist for skin doctor
    Cosmetologist
    an esthetician.

    skin care is a dermotologist.

Does anyone have a facial piercing but have a Professional job?

Just wondering does anyone have a facial piercing that works in an office or a professional place.

Im going to be a Registered Massage Therapist (will be doing it medically) and i really want my lip pierced. My parents wont let me get it saying ill ruin my future career and wont find a job. Im 19 and in college. Ill be working in a year. If someone does have a piercing and work in an office or something like that. Do you try to hide it or leave it. Im going to be building up a clientele so its not what the boss thinks of me more than the publicDoes anyone have a facial piercing but have a Professional job?
Just do what everyone else does, for example my school banned ';emo'; hair.. so the first day I brush my hair back.. mysteriously.. Little by Little my hair was falling back to cover my forehead.. in two weeks I had my emo hair and no one really care about it.. [few people commented, but just ignored it] now I have a semester in the school and my hair is not as it use to be covering just the forehead and liLittleit of the eye, now I cover both eyes ;).

works as long as you are not a politician.Does anyone have a facial piercing but have a Professional job?
Face piercings and even multiple ear piercings, does not look professional in any way. So, if you want to be successful, I would suggest no piercings on the face, b/c the clientle that like their massage therapists with multiple face piercings wouldn't be getting a massage in the first place, they would be getting a tattoo or drink at a bar in the ghetto.
remember you can always get it and take it out for work
i have my lip pierced and i work as a receptionist, my bosses have no problem with it.
if you want a facial piercing but it needs to be hidden i suggest a septum. very easy to hide when needed

    After i have a facial (just a normal/blackhead one from a professional)....?

when should i wash my face again (if i get it done around lunch)

and i heard that sometimes after you get a facial your skin breaks out because its getting rid of all the impurities, is that true? After i have a facial (just a normal/blackhead one from a professional)....?
Just wash your face that night. But try to be gentle with your skin. Dont use any harsh products on your skin for several days. And yes your skin might have some small breakout because the facial brings stuff to the surface. But your skin will be nice and clear in under a week and will stay that way for a while. Deep clean facials should be done at least every 2 months. Maybe even once a month if your skin is acne prone.

Is it normal to breakout after a professional facial?

I got a facial done at a spa on friday afternoon/evening

I was expecting some facial inflammation and such, so I scheduled it for a friday so I had the weekend to heal.

My face looks like I'm about to get my period, ughh

I'm 16 will moderate acne, so I used my money to get a facial that felt REALLY good at the time. It was like a hundred bucks! She extracted some blackheads and such, but all of them turned into zits.

I also got a weird very very small rash under my chin.Is it normal to breakout after a professional facial?
i think its normal and should clear up in a couple days.

moisturize and wash it still. and pull your hair back when you sleep

good luck!Is it normal to breakout after a professional facial?
allergy reaction to whatever she uses on you.
This is definitely NOT normal. Pay a

visit back to the spa and tell them what

has happened. You're not supposed to

get an allergic reaction, if it were like that

no one would pay $100 to get a facial then

later on break out. It's either the tools she

used isn't clean or you have an allergic

reaction. Visit your doctor they should

be able to prescribe some creams for you

to put on your face to reduce the redness

and swelling. I hope this helped

When should I get a professional facial before the wedding?

So my sister used WaySpa to buy a facial at a nearby spa for me to pamper myself before the wedding. My fiance and I are considering using that as an excuse to get a couple's massage. But anyway... when should I make the appointment for? This is my first facial. It is called an Express 30 minute Facial, so I'm assuming it's a rather basic one. At this point, I was thinking 2 days before. Any experience or advice? Thanks! When should I get a professional facial before the wedding?
I would go AT LEAST a week before your wedding. Facials can go either way, but since it's your first time you don't know how you'll react and to be on the safe side you should give yourself at least a week (preferrably 2) before your wedding day. Facials can often lead to break-outs and redness due to the fact that it's supposed to unclog your pores and has a tendency to bring out blemishes. When should I get a professional facial before the wedding?
I would schedule it at least 2 weeks if not 4 weeks before the big day! It takes time for your skin to get used to something new. I sell Mary Kay cosmetics and would suggest getting a facial even 6 months ahead of time and then you can be using the skin care up until the wedding to have your face looking it's best!
I think you should go a week before sometime your face can get red from a facial especially when they schulf off all the dead skin. It takes a few days for your face to look back the way it did and if you are going to wear makeup on your wedding day you don't want to clog your pores or cause an acne break out.

    Good Luck
    No, no, no, no, no!

Never get a facial that close to any big event! A facial is designed to open up your pores and deep cleanse. This will actually cause minor break outs!

At minimum schedule a facial at least 2 weeks before any big event!
    I have sensitivie skin -

NEVER EVER do it too close to the day of your event

I am having my facial 4 weeks before the wedding !
I would do it about 5-6 days or more before, because what if you have some reaction to it?
    no

Best type of skin tightening facial? Professional?

When you go to a day spa/esthetician, what is the best type of facial for skin tightening? I need a little bit of skin tightening for a special occasion, but don't want dermabrasion or laser kind of facials.

Whats the true tried facial that will give the best results?

Are their websites that might shed some light.

thanks!Best type of skin tightening facial? Professional?
you can search for online skincare chats, there are some where you can speak with an esthetician directly. Just google it. You dont necessarily need to get a facial to have your skin more firm, you can just get an instant gradification type of product for example: BABOR HSR 28, Z. Bigatti Inception Total Face Masque, Ole Henriksen Firm Action Mask

Do you think professional facials really work?

Have you ever had really good results?Do you think professional facials really work?
i had one done before, and while it was nice, i doubt it was worth the $65 it cost. the only reason i went was to use the gift card my husband gave me. my face looked the same coming out as it did going in.Do you think professional facials really work?
I am currently attending cosmetology school and we just finished facials and I would say yes they do because a professional knows the right cleansers and moisturizers to use along with the facial manipulations that are performed when giving a correct facial.
My sister is training to be a beautician and she has done facials on me, its a normal facial,i probably wouldn't pay for one. i know how she does it so i could easily do it on my own, but i think maybe in spas they use expensive products so the results are better.

Sometimes people are drawn in by the words professional and spa, when maybe you could do exactly the same things at home.
yes, after getting facials repeatedly , usually go before every season starts, i feel a huge difference my face feels cleaner, i don't get as many pimples, it is softer and not as dry as before. plus, its relaxing because my facialist with give my hands face and feet a massage, play soothing music and i am wrapped up in warm blankets!
depends on the type of facial. most facials consist of cleansing, toning, apply a mask and moisturizer....which you should be doing at home anyways....if you don't, then yes you should notice a difference (for the better too) but if you already have a good skin care routine, a more advanced facial (such as photofacial, or microdermabrasion..or any type of peel) will benefit you more. But it all depends on the brands the spa uses as well.
If you are having a specialised facial with machines, or a special type of mask, ingredients being used then yes it will work over time! But must be repeated to see results!

Otherwise if you are just having the basic facial its more about the relaxing in there and having someone else pamper you! I enjoy basic facials for the massage given!
    yes they work

Are salon/professional hair care products, facial products and makeup better than over the counter products?

Places like Walmart, Walgreens and grocery stores have a wide array of hair care, facial and makeup products. I wonder if salon/professional products are better quality than these over the counter products and if so, why. Or is there little or no difference between where you buy your products? Are salon/professional products just a scam to make money by claiming their products are higher quality or is there truth to their claim? Are salon/professional hair care products, facial products and makeup better than over the counter products?
There's a difference.Thats why they're used in the salons cuz thats what ur paying for.If they used the same products, they would have to charge less. Are salon/professional hair care products, facial products and makeup better than over the counter products?
They are way better than walmart sure there more money but you only need a little bit but with the walmart stuff you use hand fulls and hand fulls so in the end walmart is wat more money with really bad results!
Some professional products are unbelieveably worse than some over-the-counter products! And you won't know which are good or bad until you try them. But I just stick with over-the-counter products... I think it's unnessecary to spend more money for something I could buy for cheap that just has a different label.
The book you need to read is: Natural Beauty: Pamper Yourself With Salon Secrets at Home by Laura Dupriest. The author owns her own spa and salon, she was a model and instructs people on this every single day. You will be surprised when you read this book.

  • Is men's facial hair at work professional?

My husband says that having a goatee (he never wears it because i dislike it) is proffessional, and they are deciding on who to give this postion to. and he thinks wearing one may help because it's professional?

What do you think? Or do u think it's for some other reason? Is men's facial hair at work professional?
Facial hair is the ';in thing'; these days. I believe any guy that can grow a nice beard or goatee should try it.

I like a web site called beards.org. They have a lot of info on facial hair. There are thousands of pictures that your husband can look at for some ideas. Let him give it a try.

I think it can be very professional looking. Your husband might look better with it too.

why the concern? Be real, be yourself, damn the rice eaters!
Chinese men typically don't have facial hair themselves, but since you are a foreigner, it is totally acceptable. In many places in China, the simple fact that you are a foreigner means that people will stare at you no matter what you look like. Keep in mind, though, that the more facial hair you have, the more attention you will get. Don't worry about your hair, worry about making sure you know more about Chinese business culture. For example, when someone gives you their business card, you should always take it with both hands, not just one.
~none for women LOL. Men can have nicely groomed mustaches and beards, nothing ungroomed or unkempt~

Only problem is i look quite young without my facial hair and though i could get a nice subtle professional facial hair style done, but can't find one that wouldn't be too stuck out.

Anyone got any ideas?A professional facial hair style?
I suggest to shave it all off. Even though you will look young you can do your hair and dress to make you look older and more professional. If you walk in there with any facial hair at all, all they might see is a rebellious guy who can't follow orders. A professional facial hair style?
Clean shaven means no facial hair at all. A general rule of thumb when one is interviewing for professional jobs is to get rid of the facial hair and then grow it back after you land a job and know if it will fit in with your work environment... it's just playing safe. Some people get oddly wierded out by facial hair and think it's unprofessional...you don't want to risk it will distract your interviewer.
yep....just go clean shaven...its best to follow the stated instructions when interviewing....just grow a goatee later (a full goatee not the little stub on the chin - that just looks ridiculous)

    Cheers.

Can a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?

I have a nose piercing and lower lip piercing and am thinking of becoming a culinary chef OR Pastry maker. My question si is it ok to have this jewlery in the food service industry? Not Front house kitchen. Back houseCan a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?
It would depend on the individual restaurant. You ar emore likely to be able to have facial piercings at indpendently owned restaurants rather than chains. Can a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?
In the first year you enroll in culinary school, you're not allowed to have any facial jewelery, piercings, rings etc..

Mostly depends where you're planning to work, study or be an intern at.
