What is so special about a facial?

I have never had a facial but always wanted to get one. Can someone please explain to me what is the big deal and what exactly does it do? Does it help open up your pores to get all your black heads out or what?What is so special about a facial?
I'm pretty sure that a facial for the first time may not get you beautiful flawless skin. All they basically do is steam your face or cover it with a towel. It's pretty basic stuff you can do even at home. (You can search around for how to do a home facial) I also think that though if your a regular and are a person that gets a facial every month, maybe you might see your skin become better but you still need to always take care of you skin at home too. Have fun if you do get one though. If you do, take your mom or your friends and use that day to pamper yourself. See how your skin appears the next day and then decide if you want to keep on doing facials.

Most guys like giving women facials...just ask any of them and I'm sure the will oblige.
It is mostly psychological.


The fact that you spend an hour pampering yourself is the best medicine, especially if you are an average overworked female!
yea your pores are like holes so they open your pours with hot air or water and clean out the inside. they also have neat cleansers lotions etc to work well on your skin
